Working together

My approach

The best design results come from a collaborative working relationship. Being inclusive and transparent at every stage of the project ensures that development retains momentum, decisions are informed and goals are met.

Planning

The scope of work will define the required tasks and deliverables of a project. If a project is time critical, planning will ensure deadlines are met. Should the scope of work exceed a given deadline, we will prioritise tasks required for a minimum launch.

Research and foundations

Working together we will outline the main goals and the target audience of your project. These steps will ensure the overall tone and visual language aligns. The agreed stylings and direction will be the foundations of future design work within the project.

Collaborative activities

To help any project run smoothly, I recommend several points of contact during a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The first being a brief discussion outlining tasks, a mid-point review will check progress and be an opportunity to identify any issues and a final review for sign-off or identify areas that need extra effort.

Timings and schedule

Many projects may have multiple dependancies. The main tasks will be split out into multiple tracks but will be based on the same timeline. This will enable a flexible work schedule that will retain momentum.

Deliverables

All work will be shared via DropBox for instant cloud access. Assets will be supplied in industry standard formats and be platform and software agnostic where possible. Access will be given to prototypes and be ready for developer hand-over if required.
